praise God for the honor of being called a Christian (1 Peter 4:16)
Street Life, Jesus Vibes
Here’s what living for Jesus looks like in the streets: It’s not just about what you say, it’s about how you live every day. When you roll with Jesus, you’re repping love, truth, and grace. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about being real, owning your mistakes, and letting Him guide your steps.
Forgive, even when it’s tough. Show love, even to those who don’t deserve it. Jesus loved us when we were at our worst, so we’ve got to reflect that same love out here. See someone struggling? Lift them up. See someone lost? Point them in the right direction—straight to the One who’s got all the answers.
Temptations are everywhere, but with Jesus, you’ve got the strength to say ‘no’ to the streets pulling you the wrong way. You’re different now—His Spirit lives in you. That means you have peace when things are crazy and joy even when life isn’t going your way. You don’t move like everyone else because you’re on a mission, living with purpose.
And when you mess up—because you will—don’t stay down. Get back up, ask for forgiveness, and keep moving forward. Jesus already covered it all.
In the end, it’s simple: Live with love, keep it real, and stay close to God. You’re here to shine light in dark places. Let people see the difference in you—because you’re living for more than just today. You’re living for eternity.
The Hustle for Christ:
Bible, Crew, and Perseverance
Bible Studies
Bible studies are like blueprint sessions. You can’t build a strong life without knowing the plan, and the Bible is that plan. When you dive into Scripture, you’re learning how to live, move, and handle life. It’s your daily dose of wisdom straight from God. You connect with others, read the Word, and figure out how to apply it in real life. It’s not just sitting around reading; it’s about getting equipped with truth so that when life hits hard, you know how to fight back.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”
———— 2 Timothy 3:16 ————
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”
———— Psalm 119:105 ————
Meeting with Other Christians
You can’t do this walk alone. Meeting up with other Christians is like rolling with your crew—you need people who’ve got your back and help keep you on track. You encourage each other, call out the things that aren’t right, and push one another to stay strong in faith. Whether it’s at Sunday service, a small group, or just over coffee talking about life, it’s all about building each other up and staying sharp.
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
———— Hebrews 10:24–25 ————
“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”
———— Proverbs 27:17 ————
Discipleship
Discipleship is like being mentored in following Jesus. Someone more experienced in the faith shows you how to walk it out, and then you pass it down to someone else. It’s like training—you learn, you grow, and then you go teach the next person. It’s not just learning facts, it’s doing life together, showing someone how to follow Jesus in every move they make. It’s about leveling up in your faith and helping others level up too.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.”
———— Matthew 28:19–20 ————
“Jesus called out to them, ‘Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!’”
———— Matthew 4:19 ————
Perseverance
Life is going to hit you with challenges—hard times, doubts, and people coming at you. But when you’re living for Jesus, perseverance means you don’t quit. You keep pushing, keep grinding, even when things get tough. Jesus didn’t promise an easy life, but He promised He’d be with you through the storm. You hold on to that, keep your head up, and keep running the race no matter what obstacles come your way.
“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”
———— James 1:12 ————
“And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.”
———— Hebrews 12:1–2 ————
Evangelism
Evangelism is spreading the Word and letting people know about Jesus. It’s not about preaching at people—it’s about sharing the hope you’ve found. The streets are full of people looking for something real, and if you’ve found that in Jesus, you need to share it. It could be through a conversation, offering a helping hand, or living so differently that people start asking what’s up. You’ve got good news—don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with your friends, your neighborhood, anyone who’ll listen.
“And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way.”
———— 1 Peter 3:15 ————
“But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? ... So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.”
———— Romans 10:14–17 ————
In the end, it’s about community, growth, and repping Jesus wherever you go. This isn’t just a Sunday thing—it’s life 24/7, through the grind, the struggles, and the good times. Stay connected, stay strong, and keep shining that light.
